But coding for that shit is like a good chunk of the game and, in my opinion, would be a waste of time for the dev's.

i really don like consoles and especially console games. Did i mention how I dont lik console games, coz i think i forgot to mention, I dont like console games. for that reason and more reasons. I always like games to have some violence, bu there has to be a good reason to do so. I dotn liek games where your fight and kill for the plain reason of getting a medal of a bunch of numbers next to your name. Hell NO!.

Games that involve killing "The Bad Guys" I have no problem with.

Now there was a game released in the UK reminiscing the JK assassination.

I would have had a major problem with that.

A little bit animation on the screen would be ok.
and I dont mean something complex, but simple things,
like menu's popping out,
or a fade in/fade out, effect,
or a scroll in/scroll out effect,
or typing text effect,
stuff like that would be cool

A little more animation is good for the main menu, especially the server browser since I spend alot of time looking for a good game with low ping and plenty of people.

Yeah, I think the devs won't change it because I've seen the coding that has been put into some screens.

God, so much code is involved for such a fraction of the game. :S

They should just come up with several screens, like Ghost Recon games have.

Yeah. perhaps a random bg image for the menu everytime you open up the game. they could use the map screens and the weapon images.

i think the fonts on the display should be change into something smooth/futuristic looking fonts,

like these fonts below:

we cant jsut use any font, first we gotta check for any copyrights and royalty.

Hmm... Xeno brings a good point into our perceptions.

Multiple fonts would only lead to more conflict unless the dev's made up their own which would, most definently, postpone a release by even more.

when I get fontomatic, or whatever its called. (its made by macromedia) I can actually make a full font set. I made one before based on the predator numbers based on the predator movies. I then programmed a preloader (the laoding bars for the flash webpages) and made it tick like the predators selfdestruct timer. It worked in all miracles.

I agree with Dragonathan; I strongly perfer clean, realistic 2D interfaces! In fact I perfer it's taken one step beyond that and minimizes or completly avoices the use of all affectation and non-functional, and non game art assests.

To get immersed in the game use dramatic scenes from the game as backdrops not color photographs; use real game telemetry, statistics and resources like planning interfaces not faux filler...

Umm... wouldn't that require a lot of work to aquire?

true. the earthlight.jpg image in the main menu gets boring. You know, animated main menu bgs are possible. They should use one of the best maps, make a short looped animated bg for it. Perhaps with alittle coding, a random main menu bg everytime you open the game.
