ok maybe its sounds stupid that im suggesting this,
but it would be friggen fun,
if there is A toilet room, on some map.

for example:
you're being chased by the bad guys,
your running and running,
than you try to hide in A toilet room.
look at the picture below.
you open one of those doors, than close it, the enemy have to guess in wich door you are in.



you can even use some kick-ass tactics in the "toilet room"

example:

your running from the enemy's,

the enemy's is chasing you,
than you decide to hide in the toilet rooms,
your combat intuitions tells you, that the enemy's gonna open
the 1sth door, and the 2th door,
you open the 2th door, drop A nade inside the 2th door,
than you close the door
than you quikly hide inside door nr6.
the enemy's are approaching the "toilet-room"
finally he's there, he opens the 1sth door,
"but your not there"
than he opens the 2th door
"BANG!!!!!!!!!!"

now you people are probably thinking:
why do you have to open the doors,
to check out if there's A enemy inside,
if you can shoot bullets through the doors?.

well.. would you risk to waste all your bullets, if you dont even know sure if the enemy's inside the door you're shooting at?

Thats a big idea, but what I believe you are proposing are wired grenades. Instead of throwing them as the only use, you could plant it to a door/objective and when the objective/door is touched... (guess you know what happens). Thats fine for most people, but what stops certain players from prevent others from enjoying the game? They could jsut wire evey door and other players wont be able to play anymore. m against the idea of having these mines as other players are against the idea of having snipers. The thing with snipers, they arent always perfect, someone can sneak past them and knife them from behind. The only reason for me to approve this idea is that it is realistic.. but we need to find a way to prevent people from using this as a way to cheat or taking advantage with it. This is something tha must be used for tactical strategy, not advantage over weaker players.

the nades in TCE explodes after, lets say... after 7seconds,
if your A skilled player,
you can time evryting precisely,
if your skilled, you can do some math's if you using the nades,

example,

you see enemy's comming your way,
your inside A building, hiding behind a crate,
there is A door infront of you.
now you know when the enemy's have passed through the door,
it takes about 4 seconds for him to reach the crate.
the nades explodes after 7seconds.
now this is what you need to do,
if you see the enemy's passing the door,
you hold the nade 2 seconds in your hand, after 2seconds,
you drop the nade near the crate.
you run away, make sure they dont see you,
when the the enemy's is finaly near the crate,

"bang" enemy down, enemy down, enemy down,
killed by Xenokiller

now thats what i call... mathematic combat tactic.

well, it is all about timing.. AKA nade cooking. In doing this, it gives the enemy less time to react. Earlier, you were talking about a toilet and a cubicle door. Now you talk about strategy. The thing is, lots of people already know this strategy, and lots of people use it.

so i whas trying to explain why wired nades is not really needed in the game,

what i do wanna see in the game, are C-4's
wich only can be used on some particular maps,

c4 isnt used against people. C4 is a grade of explosive primarily used for demolision. the door breacher used by police and military is c2 grade, and is still not used against people. Although it has high chances of killing the person, it is impractical and messy to use it. These are classified as HE and are only used to demolish structures and vehicles, not as weapons. Currently, TCE already has c4, well, something like it.

well it got me thinking,

you know that objective game mode.
when the terrorist's have to place the bomb,
and specop needs to defuse the bomb.

why not reverse it?
this time specops needs to place C-4's on some generators.
this game mode can only be played on A factory map.

there are 4 generators on the map,
the team needs to place the C-4's on all the generators.
and terrorists needs to prevent them from doing that.

if theres only 3 generators destroyed, that means your team didnt won,
your team needs to destroy all 4 of them to win the match.

that is acceptable and isnt so bad, but why blow up 4 with 4 c4s? ("4" lol) you only need 1 (c4)

All this needs is a talented mapper.

it should look something like this:

doors evrywhere,
so you can also hide evrywhere you want,

this would be friggen fun,

and it should be possible to stand on a toilet-pot,
so you can see almost evrything outside the door,

bathrooms are hell to clear. play any indoor SWAT3 map (changs theatre in the demo has a small one) and see. fun? hell yeah! they'd be great for BC! hell, even VIP.when I start mapping I'll try a bathroom.

Are you saying that you should be able to lock yourself in the john? :S

sorry to burst yuor bubble but everything is a decorations. Eyecandy are only decortions. Anything that you can break, move, touch, activate in a map is called a "strategy" (not refering to the term Strategy/tactics). In map maker lingo, a "strategy" is any object that you can manipulate in games/maps to do other stuff like open doors and other map functions.
