Many of you noticed that TC.US had been offline this past week. Many of you also automatically came to the conclusion that the end was near! Well, it's not! I'm not too sure what happened to our hosting, but Traumahawk (no he's not dead!) resolved the issue and we are back up!

We appreciate the support we've gotten from the North American (and European) community and plan to be around for a while giving players an alternative to the Official Site.

After reading the official forums, it's quite clear that uncertainty and impatience are what most players are feeling right now concerning an update. Be rest assured that currently Coroner and Liquid are tweaking minor details in code getting .49 ready for an internal release candidate. Once I learn more news of this, I will post it on here.

In community news, there have been several leagues in the works for TC:E. One I'd like to acknowledge is www.extremebattles.com. The future TC:E ladder is "home grown" featuring some of our well known North American players. So, if you're a clan and want to be challenged (in a competitive sense), I suggest you check it out! They are still looking for admins for the league, so if you are interested in helping out, please apply.

It's nice to know that the work will continue, it is also nice to see this great looking community site back in operation, but.. I will alway's stick to my gun's concerning issue's surrounding the community and TT / GSS interaction. It leaves a lot to be desired and has a clear history to reinforce this notion..

well, now thats its back, are there any changes in tce.us? or is it still the same. maybe you guys should get some people from the forums to finish the rest of the site. I would volunteer myself, but at this moment, i havent acquired any of the software i need yet. namely, photoshop and flashmx. (yes its true, i know how to use flash mx, action scripted too ). wwhen i get the software, i might be able to help with maintaining this site.

Nothing has been updated as of yet on the site. I'm personally waiting to update with .49 as a lot of content will change.
