Is there anyway for the .50 release to package ET and TCE together into one download.
I know it would be huge but it would simplify the install. Just wondering.

In short, although that helps a lot for those not tech/computer savy but we cant do that. (only distribute as is)

it is possible to bundle ET and TCE together, but you have to seperate the files, like putting ET and TC in 1 pack/map download,

i personally think that the devs should script an automatic TCE installation after the ET installation. would it be illegal? no...

I am not sure what the issues are but the new tcelite.net website really needs just a little work to get it running correctly but I don't know if someone is just lazy or doesn't have the knowledge to get it running correctly. Or better yet just redirect the site to here. That should only take a few minutes to do.

That is unless this is some kind of sign that something is close to happening with the promise of .50 being released a few months back and they were waiting to get the new site updated...

Maybe wishful thinking but who knows...

The site gets about 2-3K unique visits per day. This site has always been very popular. HOWEVER...

The forums are not very active though. New registrations are closed due to spam bots taking over the forum and moderators not being very active to delete them. Unless this changes, I don't see these forums being active in the near future.

About tcelite.net that is a terrible situation. About 2 yrs ago it moved to a new server and the admin didn't give anyone full access to it. Only 2 members were given direct ftp access - and another few admin rights on the site's backend.

Because of the domain change, some critical url's needed to be changed (ie the css file for one - and links) but no one has access to it. Some people lost their passwords and now there are only 2 people to be able to change it. The site admin (who has been mia for about a year) and a TT member - who seems to be MIA.

Unless the MIA person reappears, I think that site will ultimately be closed and this will assume the main official role.
