In the event of a hot debate on any issue that has clearly escalated beyond reasonable discussion:
Number 1:
> We as moderators will nolonger assume the need to be defensive or offensive against any kind of slanderous, insulting, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour within any thread. Instead, offenders will be PMed the warning note with the Terms of Use link and highlighted the rule violated. All warning notes will be recorded in a secure archive for further review by our admins.
Number 2:
> In the scenario of locking threads, we as moderators will no longer lock threads on the first offense. However, if the thread has reached a point that it has had over three (3) offenses, it will be locked without question.
Number 3:
> We as moderators will not take sides; as soon as an issue starts between two members, both parties are laible to the appropriate punishment for the rule/s violated. Refer back to Number 1.

Plead:
> If you feel you were treated unjustly, refer to the Terms of Use (under my sig is a quick link) and prove to us that we were wrong and we will gladly apologise and clean your name. However in the case of flaming - especially against a member of the forum - we as moderators reserve the right on the last call on what is and what is not a flame.
> A locked thread will be cleaned of offensive posts and unlocked after reevaluation but upon request for reevaluation. Keep in mind that we cannot manage to reevaluate and unlock everything.
