I just read my post and noticed I am a little bit catty myself.

I apologize to everyone. It's just that I have become so annoyed by these repetitive threads stating how this forum sucks and Dragon is some monster etc. Basically it's all the negativity... regardless the subject.

Maybe we should open up our contest soon (what I've been saying for the past year hehe) It will most probably be an official TCE contest run on here and the official page - probably the prize will be a gift from the shop or something of equal TCE interest etc.

So maybe a contest will change the mood around here. And since you all are TC.US community members, you can help me decide which kind of contest would be welcomed and good for the present community.

Any suggestions?

maybe a desktop contest? I have a great idea for one (and I"m porbably going to get started on it, anyway)

giving away free TC merchandises for the shop to the winner?
but the contest should be beneficial for this f2p game too,
and it has to be more original, not another ordinary wallpaper contest or whatever,

suggestion:
the one that has a the best picture of himself advertising a big text of the www.truecombat.com link on a big banner made "by himself" in the middle of a crowded towncentre and in the middle of a crowded erea where there are allot of people passing by, should receive a big reward, such as:
bag
t-shirt
cap
sweather
cup
and another t-shirt signed with all the dev's signatures,

so the competitors can benefit great prices,
and the devs can benefit cheap advertisement lol!!!

Well the wallpaper then ends up as some sort of promotional poster for the game, think of that. I could get it printed via Deviant Art and sold from there supposing the szie was big enough. For prints I recommend between 6000-9000pixels.

btw a tce contest = sheer gnarly total tubular awesomeness. What kinda contest idk map, third party material, who ever gets the most ppl to play, who has hottest ass (i already won), pissing contest, best promotional video using knight rider theme, etc

Dragon I like the sign thing. It's something that most of the community can do - granted they have to own a camera and have a way to put it online.

Maybe some sort of "scavenger picture hunt" where u are holding the sign in different areas - or something of that sort.

That idea interests me. More more please!

the only thing i have to add is that the community of the .com forum should participate, so imagine all the people around the world showing a sig of the www.truecombat.com link, could boost the popularity, i am sure some people surrounding the one's showing the sig are curious what the website link is, and probably checking it out when they are logged on the internet,

I'm sure once the stuff is finished, the tce.net guys would probably use 'em.
