READ ATTENTIVELY
tc:e's game sound does feel a bit "bald", the reason why is because it doesnt have that extra additional sound's, the sound designers of TT only used the main importent sound's, and thats not really good for games, games are ment to entertain people, not to make people bored, remember the old days when 8 bit games had beeps and peeps and noisy ambience sounds?
well i enjoyed it, it was really fun to hear, because it was entertaining.
but tc:e's sound designs isnt really entertaining, all you hear are gun shots, reload sound, foot steps, and some sounds on the background, and thats about it,
so i think the game sound could use some improvement boost,
here are a few game sound suggestions:
-since tce doesnt use a loop background music to make the gameplay more intense,
"wich i dont really mind cause the sound of the bullets are intense enough" what i suggest is a cool cheering up tune/beat at the start of the match, to cheer up players,
the tune/beat could be military drums, or a typical heroism army sound, it usually has some trumpet and military drums, the cheering up tune/beat should play for about 5 second at the start of the match,
there could also be some additional sound added in the end of the match when evryone get to see the scoreboard, and there is just one sound that i like to hear at the end of the match and thats some awesome breakbeats
this all would make tc:e sound design less "bald".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
the female voice on the end of the match that says: "terrorist wins" & "specop wins"... could use some improvement,
you gotta admit that having a female voices in the game that tells you information isnt really original, way too many games allready used a female voice that tells you informations,
so thought... why not be original why not use a british male voice instead?
thats more exclusive than that female voice,
--------------------------------------------------------------------
the voice box sound's in tc:e are fine, but it could be more exclusive, it could be more distinguished from other modern day FPS games,
and there is one simple thing you can change to do that,
since the terrorist's sepose to be russians, why not use a russian language for the voice box? and i dont mean english with a russian accent, it is allready done in allot of games, what i mean is really russian....
yes most people wont understand, but they can see what voice they selected, and other player's can see on the screen what it means because its in english,
this is far more realistic than having a english voice with a russian accent like what most games have.
