Lol, it's insane to do that. He'll need to remake the entire engine so it works on a mobile platform. And if he creates a mobile app you'll probably focuss the android market first because it's a bigger market and growing much faster. If no-one plays the free destktop version, why would they play a-harder-to-play mobile version? |

Quake 3 on smartphones is nothing new. Has been there for quite some time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jHsXoa9KYw There are thousands of such videos. The problem I see is that TC in it's current form is a mod, therefore might have problems porting. |

TC:E wouldn't make sense on a smartphone as it is. The controls would be lacking and the game wouldn't be as enjoyable on a tiny screen. There already are a few iOS/Android optimized FPS titles so why not check them out? I'm talking about Modern Combat (3 is the latest), Battlefield Bad Company, NOVA, etc. Check them out. |
