Yes, there has been a gap between the release of .48 and the future release of .49. I admit, it's pretty sucky having to wait for a new release, but be assured the delay is because the team has been working nonstop to bring many new weapons, maps and gamefeatures! Speaking of which, I got the chance to talk to Sho7 on the progress of the weapons!

To read the interview, and see more screen goodies (first seen on TC.US), visit Sho7's interview page.

Some exclusive shots on the main news page. View all 8 on the interview page mentioned above.

Be nice if the most recent posts were correctly text formatted, and used an image format consistent with the other news posts.

One of the nice things about Mark's site has been that it is rilled with spelling erros, formatting erros, bad grammar, and splotchy difficult to read or understand news and posts (for the most part)...

At least teach Chosen some basic HTML formatting, his news posts look (and read) like sophmoric (to be polite) crap. If this site is actually using a news script there's absolutely no excuse for such sloppy posts.

I totally agree, the basic html is for the birds anymore. Need to splash it up with some pizazz and wrap it in a ribbon and bow for presentation!

yeah, i was wondering, sho7 and blackmatte and other.. 3d people? make these absolutely fabulous models and skins, but will they look like that ingame? probably from a first person view, but will they be like that in third person? i mean like when i look at a cop and check out his G36c will i be able to check out that cmag? when i look at his mk23 will i be able to look at his lam and silencer???
btw when UT2007 comes out you guys should make a mod with the unrealengine3, or kismet or whatever its called.
PS ANSWER MY QUESTION

you dont mod ue3, thats the raw engine, you make a whole new game with it. say, if the team could afford to buy a license or two, you could make a whole new game. at this time, its a better idea to try obtainnig a license for ue2 or ue2.x, the same engine that america's army uses. with that, itll bring tce to a whole new level. (not as a mod though but a whole new game) problem is, the license cost around 3grand per programmer, but there are discounts if you buy them in bulk, like for a whole dev team (programming, graphics and mapdevs)

check it out here

www.unrealtechnology.com

i dont remember where in the site i saw the prices per head, but its there somewhere in the licensing links. by then, ue2 would and should be cheaper than getting ue3. thats if you guys are planning on making this big time full retail, eventually become an official dev company under EA or VUG or CDV (european?)

AA runs like crap on my computer, and lags even worse. No thanks.

thats why i recommend that we use ue2 not ue2.x or ue3 for that matter. AA runs a little laggy on mine aswell,a nd an occassional crash, but using the ue2 (AA uses ue2.5, and soon be using ue3) the game would run fine on nearly any computer system from 2002 to present. that would be a nice thing to try though. making a whole new game from a fresh raw copy of ue2. plus the availability of drivable vehicles and planes (new missions there like hijack or escape and other stuff)
