Post subject:  CTF Truecombat maps?
Is there any CTF maps for TrueCombat, if so how would I set the gameplay, and also have any of the cool maps from old Q3 True Combat, I loved playing CTF in that game, the best CTF gameplay ever, please point me in the right direction, or tell me to start coding it myself or something.

unfortunately CTF isnt really popular in tce and the maps are all more or less not suited for it(playable but could be a lot better) and afaik there is no map made specifically for ctf.
the setting for running a ctf server would be: seta g_gametype "2" (5=obj and 7=bc) and needs to be set in either the server.cfg or maps.cfg

i dont know how many ports of q3tc there are, but the ones that come to my mind are:
obj_bahamut
obj_closecombat
obj_closecombat snow edition

deadly xmas was in work too but dunno how far this went

CTF is pretty much dead in TC:E. No one makes decent maps for it, and the stock maps have bugs. There are a few custom maps that would be ok for it.

There is one Japanese server that runs CTF. The only working one that I know of..

Few servers:
CTF for All People (japan), there is people here 24/7, maps include few good CTF maps like vorort, villa 2.1, siege2, extend, bloc and stadtrand. Of course railhouse too.

XMD_TC:E 49B (US), I have seen people in here sometimes, they got depot, kowloon (great!) and invasion at least.

MASSA_CTF (europe), great server, it has players rarely, but sometimes. probably only officials here.

CTF for All People 2 (japan), official maps here, people visit here few times in a week, so possible contestants.

{DT} CTF, official maps only, I have maybe seen people here month ago or something, mostly empty.

FORCE CTF base (germany), sometimes FORCIES take fun matchs here, ask the pass and they'll let you in. :) might be down nowadays, not sure.

TCE: Death on Campus (new zealand or australia?), people were here few months ago, still worth trying, I think it was offical server.

Yeah i miss CTF alot! That was the only game i played in Q3 TC! Very fun, lets bring it back!

Even though TCE's CTF is buggy - I think with some decent maps with good spawn/case points, it could be playable... at least for fun more than it is now, anyway.

I'd love to see the following TC maps: CC2, Industrial, Deadly Xmas, Condemned & CityHeat Lite.

About the gameplay - 15 mins a round swapped once during a map.

it was buggy in 0.49 since there was an error in the mapscripts that made the flags dissappear, but in 0.49b it works just fine
