I just recently got TCE back and i want to know what are some known issues with frame rates and how to edit the console to run smoother????? I remember something about packets? meh, its been 2 years! |

cl_maxpackets 30-100 (60 is minimal for Scrim servers) rate 25000 Honestly, unless you're machine is old, TCE should run fine on default. (other than the packets command, which varies between servers). |

Yeah look in that link ^^. Some points are importants i think : turn off detail textures (in menu) picmip "2" + roundimagedown "5" + primitive "2" decreasing colors can help (depends on your gfx card). on ur gfx drivers : decrease or turn off antialiasing + anisotropic filter |
