@PR's, i think u guys should prepare to promote 0.491 through the whole internet, the most important one is to notify websites about the new version that r distributing all the TCe files afcourse, and perhaps you guys could promote the new version to some new gaming websites or something, if more websites r distributing TCe, the more popular it'll become here r a few suggestions for the 0.491 launch: -revamped website, new theme that fits with the new version, and if we will have new player models "i hope" show it off... -perhaps some promotional flash animated head banners, -new community contests that actually helps spreading the news, @Diane, like the one i suggested about that "taking a picture of yourself holding a banner in the middle of the town center" idea, -a new trailer/teaser to boost the popularity, broadcast it in populare websites such as www.youtube.com and www.gametrailers.com, btw, there is a mod that promoted their game in gametrailers, insurgency mod: http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php? ... 6&type=wmv -@community, spread the word through popular forums, it dont have to be necessarily a game based forum, could be an anti virus forum or other non game related forums, make sure its in off-topic afcourse, and also make lots of promotional video's for youtube, and please make quality video's, -give the community new official banners and avatars to promote the game, and new promotional screenshots plus banners for the websites that r distributing the 0.491 files, and please design it as original/professional as possible, animated banners and avatars would do very good, any other ideas? |

What I know they changed, and I do suppose you know too is that they only changed the weapons codes, a few map fixes, and possilby the new guns. |

And the G36c, SCAR, Mk.23, and M1911/1991. yum. aside from weapons, it's just map tweaks/changes, a couple new maps (is obj_harbour or whatever in it?), and bugfixes. |
