READ ATTENTIVELY tc:e's game sound does feel a bit "bald", the reason why is because it doesnt have that extra additional sound's, the sound designers of TT only used the main importent sound's, and thats not really good for games, games are ment to entertain people, not to make people bored, remember the old days when 8 bit games had beeps and peeps and noisy ambience sounds? well i enjoyed it, it was really fun to hear, because it was entertaining. but tc:e's sound designs isnt really entertaining, all you hear are gun shots, reload sound, foot steps, and some sounds on the background, and thats about it, so i think the game sound could use some improvement boost, here are a few game sound suggestions: -since tce doesnt use a loop background music to make the gameplay more intense,"wich i dont really mind cause the sound of the bullets are intense enough" what i suggest is a cool cheering up tune/beat at the start of the match, to cheer up players, the tune/beat could be military drums, or a typical heroism army sound, it usually has some trumpet and military drums, the cheering up tune/beat should play for about 5 second at the start of the match, there could also be some additional sound added in the end of the match when evryone get to see the scoreboard, and there is just one sound that i like to hear at the end of the match and thats some awesome breakbeats ![]() this all would make tc:e sound design less "bald". ------------------------------------------------------------------------- the female voice on the end of the match that says: "terrorist wins" & "specop wins"... could use some improvement, you gotta admit that having a female voices in the game that tells you information isnt really original, way too many games allready used a female voice that tells you informations, so thought... why not be original why not use a british male voice instead? thats more exclusive than that female voice, -------------------------------------------------------------------- the voice box sound's in tc:e are fine, but it could be more exclusive, it could be more distinguished from other modern day FPS games, and there is one simple thing you can change to do that, since the terrorist's sepose to be russians, why not use a russian language for the voice box? and i dont mean english with a russian accent, it is allready done in allot of games, what i mean is really russian.... yes most people wont understand, but they can see what voice they selected, and other player's can see on the screen what it means because its in english, this is far more realistic than having a english voice with a russian accent like what most games have. |

Why not a very flamboyant male voice? Or an angry German voice? Deep voiced woman, so deep voice you could swear its Barry White's voice. Or better yet, why not keep it as it is? |

Honestly, I don't give a rats ass about the voice on the end. If I wanted to listen to voices I would go talk to a friend or just listen the hamster. Yes, I will kill every one Mr.Hamster |

It's a waist of time for some one to add it. |

TT has sound developers too you know, and Airon does the sound design only, i dont think its a waste of time. |

a change would be nice, HOWEVER... it's a bit too much to do ATM. I'd prefer to get supersonic cracks when the bullets pass by you instead. |

Dragon, what I am trying to say is, that the voice on the end isn't important, and is a small part of the game. Better firing sounds, echo's and better foot steps are more important than a little voice on the end of the match. |

upon my opinion, i dont think the voices ingame sound credible, it doesnt show credibility, the voices sound like robots really, because the voices doesnt contain any real emotion, for example the voice "GO.. GO.." sound a bit dull, imo kinda bad acting, i want a more convinced "GO.. GO.." with more emotion, here watch this vid please than u will understand me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUyswAI_a4U some of u are prob thinking, "use teamspeak", but keep inmind that u cant use teamspeak with people on public servers, its just not possible, thats why the team voices are importent too, its a must have most tactical shooters. |

I agree that the voices are fairly stale, and probably could use updating. but then I pplay counterstrike. it's makes the nonchalant "they're shooting at me" seem like he's about to die in horror. but still, sound updates would be cool. even if it's just those of the guns. |

Dam I know what you mean… The loading music in raven shield always pumped me up. Wile the map was loading this cool military music started each time and it was just like some energy drink from heaven to help you kick the shit out of the opposing team... ![]() |

loading music would be neat, but I don't think ET/Q3 supports it. it wasn't in Jedi academy or call of duty, and they both had fairly prominent music (especially CoD, you couldn't turn that off. but it's awesome.) background stuff in maps like gunfire, etc. I'd love to see, but it's up to the mappers. |

Personally, I think loading music gets obnoxious rather quickly. Victory music would be cool. Better voices? Perhaps eventually. |
