Ever seen this? The map time will be set for 20 min. then after about 5 min. the map switches. This happened in .48 also. What would cause this. I was on our clan server today and everybody was yelling at me to stop switching the map, it just end as if time ran out. No red message in the lower left corner about server or ref settings change. I didn't do it!

what gametype is it? if it's obj, then they're just fast.

if it's BC, then something's off. not sure what though.

Yeah it's bc, I've seen it before. The best solution might be to play obj, bc is just insane anymore with all the noobs, assholes and spawn killers lately. I was just wondering if anybody new what it was.

lmfao....its the score (team score) ....whatever the score limit is set at, config or whatever was reached....so map changed

I've heard this before, but only from other players. Server admins dont seem to know a thing about it. All that is right now is just a rumor among players. Anybody know anything about these settings and how to lift them? Some people tell me that is is set for 20 points, so when 1 team has 20 more than the other the game ends. I have screenshots of all final scores and some of them support this theory and the game ended when 1 team had exatly +20 points, but on some there is a 40 - 50 point difference.

[color=violet]Okay, when one team reaches a score of 20, or reaches the frag limit, then that team will win the map. However, some servers have removed the frag limit from some map configs, but not others. Because some maps have the frag limit removed people tend to think that it is having so many more points than the other team, but it is only when the frag limit is reached that the map will end early. Also, some times the limits will be different from the others, I've seen frag limits at 20-55.


There is also a score limit that will kick a player for losing to many points, like -20, which I wish more servers would implement.

I'm not talking about other servers, just the =UFW= bc server. Also I got on the SEF web site and I see Lady Death is an admin there, sorry about the mistake. Anyway, just trying to figure this out.

Toe i know what you are talking about is was in one of those matches that ended really fast sometimes its good sometimes it is not it maybe the sever setting cliched out or something else wroung who knows it's a beta game still.
