Yesterday [Ramen]Monty got hit by the nade bug in ..49. The circumstances were similar to the old one, but included a slight twist in that he was having massive lag spikes around the time. This time it is worse, as he could not throw the grenade, nor switch weapons. This happened maybe two time in about 6-8 hrs of play. |

Just avoid doing what causes that glitch. So far that doesnt seem to be an ordinary glitch with TCe's code by TCE's code conflicting with the Q3engine's movement codes for the nades. |

Well, ive discovered the bug when i saw someone doing it. But obviously you have to lag to do it.People who do it use a "lag script" which is exessively easy to make.So either ramen "had" lag scripts or this bug happend by "pure luck." 1 out of 10000? Nice One. You lag,then you throw the nade while lagging,when done perfectly. The nade shall not explode until you are hit by bullets.So congrats Ramen have lagged their nades =P I heard .50 makes it impossible to script and no lag hitbox's. Im interested in seeing this. I'm going to have to try and duplicate the results of the sticky nade. Twas fun to use in matches where every one is just BS around. |
