ok, I wanted to get this in, most shots from a sniper will be silent because the bullet actually flies faster than the speed of sound. So you would have to take the shot then hear the shot from the gun. Some cases have been reported of people taking headshots, living and the last thing they heard was the sound of there head crushing in, not the sound of the gun, but a horrid sound of flesh and bone caving in on them. A fairly nasty thought, but in a way kind of cool. And some people have been shot in the leg or arm, or a minor area, and heard the bullet hit the ground behind them from the bullet going straight through, then hitting the ground, then hearing the gun, and some people don't even hear the gun because of the range. Interesting if you ask me.
