I'm actually going back to school even though I'm an ancient Granny.
I'm taking some teaching courses in Prague this November. Will be exciting!

discuss school/when it starts/what classes you take/anything else here I have no clue when it starts, and I don't know if I will even make it in. my mother better have damn well paid the fees... if not, I'm screwed. |

teaching what? 
when school starts, ill be learning basic programming. I already have the graphics part covers so learning programming from basics to the very extents with fill the missing portions, then I will be able to make something with the Quake3 engine. 
BTW how would it be of any significance that way. We arent even in the same district for courses to matter. |

Right now, I'm going to Glendale Community College because it's something like 3x-4x cheaper than ASU. The community college system is oddly efficient in my state, and the credits transfer quite well. This semester, I'm only taking Calculus, Chemistry (+ lab), and Spanish. Spanish is easy because I took it in high school. Chemistry looks to be easy. I took it in high school as well, except I slept through it, and the teacher got knocked up and was gone for half the year, and the sub taught us incorrect information. Somehow, I remember some of it (not sure how much is correct), but the professor is extremely cool. Calculus is rough. I haven't understood a single thing the teacher has said all week. I've been thinking about withdrawing. If I pass the Calculus, at the end of this year, I should earn an Associate's Degree in science. If just bomb Calculus or withdraw from it, I should still be able to pick up an Associate in Arts degree. |

exactly what are you taking chemistry and calculus for? .. you only need them if you really need it for your career. |

Started last wednesday, I am taking, HS Band, Spanish I (making me -.-), Biology, Welding, English II, math (-.-), World History (WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Desert Storm) and Structures. This year we also take the ASVAB, do alot of talking to recruiters, and alot of waiting. |

I'm heading back to college tomorrow  .....
I'm taking Cisco Networking 4 (the last in the set), Intro to Programming, and PC Repair Software & Hardware (I took HW & SW in High School, but they couldn't transfer the credits). It's pretty obvious I'm going to a Technical College, much less expensive than the local University, and more geared towards my interests anyway. |

In my first class this very second. Typing this on a crappy 500mhz P3 with onboard video (I assume). Sofar were just troubleshooting some of the computers so everyone can actually log on, rofl. Supposidly were getting brand new ones in a week, thank god! |

I FINALLY realised I'm in. school starts on the 5th for me. yay? got the full grade 11 brunt, plus programming and advanced information processing. |
