how do i know if a server is using the TC mod?

do a lot of servers play the TC mod?

Which browser are you using? Telling a TCE server apart from a regular WET server is different when you are using different browsers.

TCE is the most popular total conversion mod for Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. For exact player counts I suggest checking out gamespy stats.

There are alot of servers for TCE but most of them are empty and players are concentrated on to a few large servers.

The most popular for 2.55 would be TeamSiC and BadGerbil. For 2.60 there are SeF and UFW clan servers.

The All-Seeing Eye can give you the whole catalog of TCE servers. TCE's internal browser filters TCE servers out for you too, but they tend to be insufficient.

Meh, I have found that BadGerbil servers to be quite laggish lately. It could be my computer though.

Mostly it lags because the other players are laggy through slow computers ang high ping. I notice that in FEAR alot more than in TCE or WET.

Nah...it's pretty slick. It doesn't have enough maps though, and it resets itself occasionally. In the middle of the match. I try my best to get everything back to normal after that, but it's still annoying.

if the server resets, hangs up or something, as long as you are still connected jsut type in reconnect into the console. that helps in those situations. same thing in most game sbut they have a different version of the reconnect command
