If you are going long range I suggest using a sniper, but if you don't have one and there isn't anyone to pick off of :P then get a good line up, and fire in single or short bursts, never fire long range with a full spray, as they would say, don't spray and pray, when oyu do that all you are doing is missing, bullets leave the barrel and kind of go off on their own. So fire in short bursts as much as possible, like 3 or 4 at a time, watch to see if he down and pop a few more off.

Good tip.

Too bad most skilled snipers do that.

I use the SOCOM or Spetsnaz with sniping. I usually do quite well to. :P

I made 17 kills with just one clip alone once with the SOCOM.

I use whategver I have as long as it has decent sights and single fire (hence my MAC10 hatred.

also, if you are being rushed, know how to fire rapidly by clicking fast. I've gotten so many M16 kills that way.

Bad Gerbil Clan TC:E server uses a M16 A4 mod so you can fire it fully auto. It makes it more powerful than the AK and faster shooting than the M4.

SG-1 originally had that mod, and I think you mean SOPMOD, SOCOM is the Special Operations Command, , and yes, the small aimpoints are good for longer range, but no zoom either. But if you can see him, you can hit him. With the M16, I almost suggest using it in single all the time, learn to press that button fast, lol. Just like the master over there said, Jesus I guess, lol.

Well, I do sharpshooting myself. Except that I can do that with almost any weapon in TCE, but in AA I prefer the m16 over the m4, it just seems easier to use for that purpose. Of course now, I changed my attack style, I charge up towards the enemy as a SAW gunner rather than a camper.

Lol, I just get owned right off on AA by some hacker or something, so I never really get to mess with any strategies. Would really like to see a server with serious people in it. :cry:

try clans. first check the player lists on 3rdparty browsers, see if they have clan tags from well respected clans.

Yes. The clan servers are the ones that always have the better players. More so, players that follow the rules.

Hmm, I suppose so, I was in a clan on AA a while ago called SKU that was really good, but it had few players and went downhill. :?

Most clans don't make it far because of lack of professionalism and go downhill.

It's a fate most clans will suffer. Nothing they can do about it though...

Thats why its best to keep clans small and tightly knit. by that I mean in near proximity of each other, neighbors would be good, but next country is fine, ofcourse, if your clan was separated by the pacific, then that would have problems, serious ones.

There was a clan called XpK I was in on ET, they were very good, they did very well, but we were all over the world, mostly Belgium, Germany, and US.
An issue broke out over leadership and it just died, so I joined TheWickeD, which has almost 500 members, we are on all games on the internet, we do just fine, but then again, most of us are in US, Germany and Canada. All fairly close, excluding Germany >.> And the XpK leader brought XpK back and now we can't join because he won't let any former members in, too afraid that the same thing will happen as before.
