Still, 360 and WII have better chances of beating PS3. GoW is unreal engine 3 based, it would still look better on PCs with the right HW.

in the 90's there were people saying that the n64 have a good chance of beating ps,

and that whasn true, ps won,

in the year 2001 - 2002, there were people saying that game cube and xbox have a good chance of beating ps2,

and thats whasnt true, ps2 won,

now this time its probably not true again,

ps3 will win trust me...

nah, PC will, all the time and everytime. PC was the first and it will be the last. Sony just put itself in a market where it didnt originally belong to.. so Nitendo and Atari for one has been long time game console makers, Microsoft however wasnt part of the console but plays a very big role in gaming.

Consoles are consoles. They will become older and more obsolete and must constantly be revised with a "newer" version.

Now computer on the other hand is a more adaptive instrument that can be upgraded by the user with tools such as sound cards, graphics cards, video cards, new computer screens, printers, scanners, speakers, etc. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!

I'll give a hand to the guys and gals at Sony, they know what they're doing. But when it comes down to it, they just can't beat what a computer can dish out.

thats true, but when your video card is outdated, you have to change a new video card right??

thats the same thing with a console, when a console is outdated, you have to change a new console...

like i said, a console is the same thing like a video card, the only difference is that it has tons of features,

Except that, when you change the video card it is cheaper tahn changing the whole machine. Economiclly it is cheaper since a vdeio card uses less materiall than a whole console.

Except you can wait a couple of months for the new card to come out, sell the practically new one for more than half the price and only have to pay around $200 for the brand spankin' new one.

As opposed to buying a console for $500 and waiting a couple of years for the new one and having to sell your old one for $100 and buying the new one that costs $600.

It's more of a ripoff, to me, than a benefit.

What he said! The fact that you cannot upgrade a console is the one big factors out of two factors that makes me not want to buy them.
