messa prefers canada. as Dr. breen says: Quote: it's safer here
whatever you do, if bush's daughters go into politics (highly unlikely) and run for prez, don't vote for them. *edit* WDF? I had a [/url] tag for a [quote] field... |

safer? Canada? there are 87 gangs in Toronto alone. Im not talking about highschool gangs I mean real gangs like the mafia. On the other hand if you go to the US, youll get drafted in 3 years, which isnt a bad thing. Atleast, if you do get drafted by the army, you'll get real army experience and maybe you can give a better insight to what really goes on in your future suggestions. |

well, look forward to having to ace the marksmanship test, go through extra training, and more than likely end up in the mid-east as a rifleman anyway ![]() meh. 97 gangs in toronto beats the remnant of the KKK(small southern towns only), another 150 gangs, and some other stuff. I'll stick with computer programming at SAIT... then move to Montréal or somehing to get a job at ubisoft. |

Yea, I live fairly close to Toronto and there are news of shootings happening almost daily there (and an explosion in a Tim Hortons last week!). Thankfully only a small number of them are fatal. But then again, Toronto and area is 5 million, so the number of gangs in relation to that isn't all that bad imo (it could be Detroit, after all lol). There are biker wars starting in Ontario as well. There was a mass killing of 8 people a week or so ago. Ontario is becoming ghetto (but not as ghetto as urban cities in the US - FAR from it). But all in all I'd call Canada safer than the US. We don't have "the right to bare arms" here - which means that not any crack addict person without a record can carry a gun. Yea, you can obtain firearms illegally, but at least here there are more roadblocks. Not to mention the free healthcare <3 I've lived in the States as well (in Florida and Washington), and I'm not dissing it at all... but unless I want to work in the entertainment/music industry, I'd rather live in Canada. <3 CANADA |

Ubisoft? Digital Extremes is in Toronto and London Ontario. They made UT2004 and the rest of the Unreal series for Epic. Im calling NORAD so they can sound "defcon 6" and ready the coastguard, rangers, and green beret. Maybe have the several hundred antiaircraft guns and the experimental MTHEL antiaircraft "laser cannon" on full alert. Then call the white house and tell the president that the dutch are coming. lol. jk. |

...We don't have "the right to bare arms" here <3 CANADA it wasn't an explosion, it was a violent fire. what's the difference? I have no clue!!! and technically, in the U.S., they can't legally (under constitutional right) bear arms wherever they go. if they read on, they would see "for the protection of a state or country" which basically limits it to militia and the army. it was put in because fears of a british invasion (pre-beatles) were still high. |

Europe kicks ass. It's tolerated to get high in Hollandland. I love Dutch people, but I don't love you. You hate your country. I don't love you. Oh, and lol, don't compare TORONTO! Canadians know it sucks there. Go to Calgary. There are.. GAMERS! No crime. I'd go to Washington if I was living in the US. One of the most gaming states in the country. Or New York City, because it's damn good. Or Chicago. Hey, why not SAN FRANCISCO or SAN JOSE (that's where there sure ARE lots of gamers)? By the way, Vancouver ranked #1 in a recent standard of living chart. Just kidding, dude, move to Norway. |
