i whas entering a server, that changed my hole tce,!! thats why i strongly disagree people tweaking this mod, the devs should be the only one's that are allowed to do anything they want with this mod, not just anyone, it makes me sick, my tce became a screwed france version with a ugly picture on the main menu, the devs should hardcode this on the next version, so people cant tweak and *i-need-a-broader-vocab* up evryones computer with theyre crap!!! now i have to reinstall evrything again!! |

simply start it up again from the tcemain. those are only third party graphical mods. and thats also why it is recommended you play only on the servers that you know. hardcode, well there nothing that can stop people from hacking into anything. This is the time when locks are rendered useless no matter how good they are built. TCE049 supports third party mods, I guess there should be a way to activate and deactivate installed minimods to make it more flexible. Minimods wouldnt just be gametypes, but rather gametype and graphics sets. |

I WOULD like to see a multi-lingual version of TC:E, so that you don't need to worry about that kind of stuff... I ALWAYS make sure I know what I"m downloading from a server (hit ` to pull up the console, there's a list) and if I see something I don't like, I don't get it. (or I get all teh 3rdparty stuff from other places, like all the available maps, skins, etc.) |

I just stay out of none NA servers as much as I can, with exceptions of UK servers. its just the rest of europe and asia that does those annoying graphic minimods that add their logos to the crates, change the uniform, and freakify the skins. |

im not gonna search for those small pk files, a friend of mine who play tce too deleted the pk files too, when a crappy third party mod was being installed in his computer. and now he cant play tce anymore, something happend to his computer just because of those dumb crappy third party files, i say hardcode it, so people cant tweak and do weird stuff with this mod. tce shouldnt support 3rd party mods, if someone wants to make a mod, than he should make his own mod like what coroner did. because than we know its a pro that making the mod, not someone who just screw things up, not even knowing his mini mod sucks bad. so kozak, its even more simple to prevent it, than to fix it |

You can also try to block all servers known for using third party mods. Perhaps a third party or unpure server filter planned for 049 would be very good right now. |

Umm... finding pk3 files are easy. As long as you remember the name of the mod, you can just go into your TCE file in Program files and go into mods from there and delete it. Don't delete the maps though or you'll be stuck downloading them from a server before you can play again, which is *i-need-a-broader-vocab* annoying by the way... ~Silentcrisis |

It is still best to just join servers you know. I would recommend Ozone, KS, or TCE servers |

Please report servers that force the download of malignant or otherwise "pest" pk3s upon connection. We are re-compiling a list of servers and need to omit the aforementioned servers from our list. In addition, an open survey will be set up to allow you to vote on your favorite servers, broken into several categories. Thanks and keep the IPs rolling in. |
