Anyone here play it?

I can tell you I'm what you call a finatic. My friends and I share these weapons for we are a team of professional airsoft players, if you could find any :S.

1. Berretta M92FS - Spring
2. Berretta M92FS Silver + Silencer - Gas
3. Desert Eagle .50AE + ex. Mag - CO2 Gas
4. H&K MP5 SD-6 - Battery
5. FN-P90 w/red dot scope + Silencer - Battery
6. AK-74 w/red dot scope + Silencer - Battery
7. M4 Carbine + Silencer - Battery
8. G36k + Silencer - Battery
.9 M14 - Battery
10. SPAS-12 + Flashlight - Pump
11. USAS-12 w/red dot scope - Battery/Pump
12. Blaser R93 w/x8 scope - Bolt Action
13. WA-2000 w/x8 scope - Bolt Action
14. M60 LMG - Battery
15. M249 SAW - Battery

Several friends and I, 6 altogether, went to a huge airsoft tournament some guys we knew started up. In all there were at least 50 other people there. We set up a fort in a huge open area, about 2 square miles, not that big; and fought an opposing team of at least 30 other people.

It was fun as hell and I encourage you play Airsoft instead of shitty paintball.

I wanna try it, I have a few friends that play it. I'd go for an MP-40 or a tommy though :P

you can get lugers, but no colt M1911's though

does ammo still cost you like paintball? ET needs a teamfortress like mod with either paintball or airsoft rather than the nailgun.

It's not Q3 based, but it's close enough and completely free.

I was refering to Quake3, that was Quake2 based. Its a completely new game made form the GPL version of the Q2E. Q3E was released as GPL shortly after it was replaced by Doom3E. So technically, anyone, or group with the skills and resources can amke a really great Quake3 based game with super high quality and it will be ("will be") free.

And I'm talking about airsoft. :P

The BB's for it are very cheap.

x5000 .12g's for about $6

x2000 .20g's for about $5

x2500 .25g's for about $8

And a really good high qualitiy gun is no more than $300. Or a descent spring gun for $50.

That's much better than buying the best paintball gun for $1000.

I remember going to the tournament which lasted three days and wasted a lot of ammo, like 10,000 .20's, and it only cost me like $40. So it's a hell of a lot more cheaper than pussy paintball. :P

Yeah, it would be expensive as hell though. You'd need a body suit that could pick up the laser.

And there would always be the risk of sending a testing missile from the US in your back yard... (Highly unlikely)

the missile thing is alittle exagerated. a missile guidance system doesnttrack those kinds of lasers. lol. but that would be funny. still, i prefer to look at the long run rather than the immediate game only. in total times played, laser is cheaper than anything else.

Well, they used to be much cheaper, actually.

Now, there are various import bans, various embargoes, and they are required to contain so many US made parts.
