we would need a working cheat protection system for the turnment as pb is getting even worse now when that pbbans have decided that "a player is kicked but not added to the MBi." http://www.pbbans.com/ |

Well the best cheat protection is pbbans. They are on the top of detection status. Actually due to GUID spoofing they stoped adding people on the MBI, but they didn't drop the support. |

Well take Heros as an example. It have lately been filled with cheaters that aren't getting detected. This does also allow change of guids during a short time since it will be harder to track Ip's |

even if they'd continue the official support, it doesnt mean they would have detected the cheats that were used lately. there are enough undetected cheats out there and ip change is still possible ![]() and i dont think that suddenly some clanplayers, who consider playing in wl suddenly started cheating since the abnning stopped. imo cheaters arent such a big problem anymore. sure you still see them sometimes on public servers but compared to the past its pretty rare. i dont think that wl will suffer from a cheater epidemic ![]() |

Easy, if any clan has ANY cheaters in, ban them forever, if they do not kick those players out. ![]() |

hehe but its not that easy, sometimes cheaters arent always cheaters^^ and clans do not necessarily have to remove them from their team. i wouldn't kick any of my teammates as they're more friends than just replaceable trash ![]() ![]() |

Yea I agree with Bio. I game to have fun - even if my friend is in my clan and cheated... I don't want to be in the same clan as them. Sure they will still be my friend and all, and I probably would pub with them after I told them how stupid they were for cheating, kicked them, etc. But no, I wouldn't keep them in my clan because I would want to game competitively - and no one would take my clan (or myself) seriously if I kept cheaters in (no matter how cool they are personally). I think it should be a mandatory rule in any league to bar a clan from participation if they keep a hacker in their roster. It just sends out the wrong message. Leagues are supposed to be about fair gameplay - and keeping a hacker in (even if they are a nice guy) goes against that 100% Besides, if someone hacks and gets caught - they should man up and take responsibility that they can no longer compete in anything officially. That's my 2 cents ![]() |
