I just downloaded tce and wolfenstien and i got a problem! I think it is to do with punkbuster.

But please help!

When i go onto tce and go onto a punkbuster server after like a minute a message pops up and kicks me for a hardware ban!

I am not running any aimbots or anything plz help me it is pissing me off i am getting banned from every server!!!

Did you try re-installing? Did you try re-downloading and installing? did you delete the main and restart from scratch? If none of these were done, go try them. And make sure PB is activated at the bottom of the server list screen.

make sure you update PB aswell. Go the to PB website www.evenbalance.org (not sure if its org or com) and download the PBsetup program which makes updating easier than using the egular PB updater.

I updated and re installed.. re downloaded... im just gonna delete all the mods and profiles (etpro, etc) then see if that works... But somehow i just think punkbuster is detecting tc:e as a hack.....

It shouldnt and it wont. It is possible that you have played on a cheat server without knowing some hacks could have been downloaded from a server, that is possible. That could happen on non-PB proctected servers.

Well i went on before i started to redownload et, which is almost done, and i took a ss. I also noticed it was in french : evil : so here a ss:

Erm, sorry for double post but, I have another problem! I uninstalled wolfenstien and kept T;ce and placed it on my desktop. I went and re downloaded wolf from here and i got a corrupt instillation error. And i tried it at the same mirror i downloaded it from last time (3d gamers) and i still got the error. Heres a screenshot:

the installer was cprrupted and you have to redownload the one that is havong problems installing. If TCE is in french, it means some thirdparty language files have been downloaded from the server. I dont like french either, its nothing personal but they really wnat to turn everything french. Your options are to reinstall and delete the TCE foler, or simple remove every single thirdparty file in it (if you can fingure out which ones are which)

I redownload from many mirrors, they all seem corrupted.

I suggest getting it from more reasonably trustable sites like fileplanet, or here at our own FTP.

I tried truecombat.us and fileplanet and all the other ones i could find.. still noone work now...
