most of the downloads arent "patch" btw because 1.6 is retail version (i could be wrong)
Or they might be bundled.
Best way (if you dont want to buy it) is to download portable version abd unpack it.
When you get it unpacked you can scan and try to find 3 files that are malicious. After that you need to pick HL SDK and copy these 3 files from the core into CS folder.
I heard this on some forum so there is no way to tell how true it is ^ i have small guide/copy pasta about the message somewhere.
