the graphics looks almost as good as a ps3,

just imagine how cool it would be playing FPS games on the NGP on the road with top notch graphics,

the NGP's graphics are actually pretty much the same as a ps3, some say the graphics is better than xbox360,

i remember reading somewhere that it will be more powerfull in raw processing power than crap box or ps3 but the videocard will lose. Also difference is that the ps3 runs games at native HD resolution where NGP does only 900x600 (aprox).

Also the videocard of the NGP is very capable.

But do you feel for 10 minutes ctf with a bump maps in a old fashioned arena shooter or just pure fraging with good physical keys?

I dont be sure do i yet buy it. I need a good handheld multimedia device but i dont know which one is the better (playstation phone or psp2. I will buy only one.)

Imo the decision is quite easy, if u want "real" gaming, take the NGP(psp2), if not then go for a good Android phone. Only consider the Xperia Play(playstation phone) if u really need these physical buttons... because it basically doesnt really have anything else to offer lol. Any good Andoid will be just as good for playing (ps1)games (just without the physical buttons..)+have other advantages.


You can do that already with "psx4droid".
I'm looking forward to the playstation suite as well tho, as its time for some improved/better ps1 emulator...

Will be interesting to see how the NGP and Xperia Play will be priced, atm I dont see any good chances for the Xperia Play unless it really has a good price coz it doesnt offer enough imo (physical keys yay... but nothing else setting itself apart from the competition, just another Android, which can run a ps1 emulator). Thus I'm more interested in the NGP as I most likely wont switch from my Galaxy S (at least not for a x-play^^).

x play doesnt have all physical keys since analogs are touch pads. I first check new how both will function (psp2 and ps phone). If xperia has very good playability and price i might consider it. It got some points from the pretty good camera and nice feeling while playing emulated ps1 games. (check review of it i posted)

And better to buy ipad chinese clones for 120€ with 7" - 12" screen

because i want good controls, i want a hand held multimedia device and i want to play good shooter on it.

gfx are not most important, but on psp2 its ofcourse very fancy.

With ipad u can play it in hand too but yes harder u can play with gamepad sensor's like from wii and ps3 move and xbox kinect probably suck anyway and probably also get tired prety fast and is hard to play on that new PSP small screen 4" is like nothing compared to 12"
