I know, I know... not everyone likes Linkin Park.... BUT, you guys absolutely have to listen to their new single "What I've Done". It's SO MUCH DIFFERENT than their other stuff, I promise you. They said that they were going to stray from the "nu-metal" sound in their new album "Minutes to Midnight"..... 'cough'comingoutmay15th'cough'.... and they weren't bluffing. I grabbed the single off of iTunes the second I got done watching the video. Oh yeah, here's the linkie to the vid------> Linkin Park - "What I've Done" Enjoy! ![]() and be sure to give me your thoughts aswell (expecially those who didn't like their old sound).... |

as soon as the guitars came in, I closed the tab. for me, the guitar is like a really good sauce. though you may want more, it should never overpower anything else. ever. the only sound that should overpower anything is vocals during an acapella song/section ,or if the instrument is the only one playing. that includes solos. there should at least be a nice bass/drum/whatever underneath. then again, I'm fairly picky with music. I don't think there's been an artist that I"ve really liked that debuted within the last 20 years, though. then again, I listen to the London symphony orchestra, and they'll be 103 in june. |

Well that hardly seems fair. ![]() There are some songs I have done the same thing to, and then come back to them later only to realize I actually liked them. I'm sorry, but I can't stand it when someone's so judgemental (one reason why me and my dad don't get along). |

I'll admit it, I was kinda >: ( this morning, but I can't get the video anymore, it got removed. If I can get it again I'll listen to it in th background, as I usually do with music. |

Just open up LinkinPark.com, they play the entire song on the intro page (thats where I first heard it). |

Meh. I suppose it's slightly less worse (I hesitate to call it better) than their previous music. However, although I can admit that it's less worse, it's still pretty awful though. Their new sound is also rather generic and unoriginal as well. |

I had a tab open for a few hours with half a sentence in a reply box, because I couldn't find that one thing that was missing. I also found it less original/flashy ooh purty new. from what I've heard, it hasn't deveated as much as say, The Doobie Brothers. it's better than before, but it's still just missing that kick. |
