I'm not looking for girls online, I said I was looking for a picture of
a girl in the Match.com commercial who looks strikingly similar to the one I like(d).
Bah. I've already made my last ditch effort anyway.
I asked my boss for her number tonight and he said he didn't have it because she has a new number or something.
I don't plan on persuing her anymore because even if my timing is perfect (like me sending her a valentine on Valentine's Day) It just seems to blow up in my face anyway.
I just didn't want any opportunity left un-taken (I wish I had taken this initiative earlier, though).
Now that I've done everything I can do and have still come up empty-handed, I'm finally throwing in the towel, and I have to say it feels pretty good. It's like the remix version of Linkin Park's
"In The End" goes.....
From the start to the end
no matter what I pretend
the journey is more important than the end
or the start
and what it meant to me
will eventually
be a memory
of a time when I tried so hard
Besides, I've got a new thing to set my mind on....
A NEW CAR.
In particular, a Red 1998 Ford Contour SVT for sale in my town for about $5000. It may take a while to get the money, but it's been sitting there for a
LONG time, so I'm just going to hope it stays available till I can get it.
Here's a pic of what it looks like
(not an actual pic of it, but one exactly the same, minus the rims)...
Imagine a pizza delivery guy rolling into your driveway in one of those.
