Set in the time before Quake 4, this game presents the events that occured before the human invasion of the Strogg home world. ETQW features the same, succesful, gameplay style and mechanics of its forefather, Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, the game all of us know and love.
ETQW features the new megatexture technology which makes large sclae maps an available option enabling crispt terrain graphics and a whole host of new features.

ETQW, unlike WET is totally assymetrical. This means that a soldier from one side is not like the soldier in the other side. In this case anyway its a soldier versus an oppressor. All weaponsa re unique for both sides and gamestyle too is unique for every class and weapon.
Support classes are still available but are somewhat different for either side. A new feature is the deployables. Previously, in WET, crew mountable weapons only existed as preplaced map options - not they are deployable anytime, and anywhere to meet demand.
Something everyone would certainly like. Vehicles. Im sure you all already know about this so i wont delve much deeper into it.

The Question is: Will Enemy Territory Quake Wars live up to its much older, technology deprived, cousin Wolfenstein Enemy Territory?
I guess we will see very soon. Look out for ETQW anytime between the next month or two.
